Toushea Skincare's products are lovingly handcrafted in small batches from scratch to ensure quality. I carefully select fair-trade ingredients and strive to use pure essential oils, organic and/or unrefined ingredients, and natural colorants whenever possible. Any other enhancements used, a fragrance oil for example, are formaldehyde, paraben, and phthalate free. All our soaps are palm oil free and most items are also vegan friendly.

The name Toushea (pronounced tooshay) pays tribute to shea butter, which is one of my favorite skin delicacies. I created a body butter for my oldest daughter in 2010 when she was a few months old. I had tried several brands of baby lotion to soothe her dry skin and mild eczema and they just weren't helping. Now she has softer skin and the eczema outbreaks have been reduced. Seeing the positive results on my baby's skin (and mine), I became passionate about making other skincare products for my family that were as natural as possible. At the urging of family and friends, I began selling my creations in 2014.
